Blaze Me Up - Blazer Dress Style

I’m not sure what I love more, the fact that this outfit is so chic and sexy or that it’s all thrift'd?!

This look was inspired by DulceCandy, a Youtuber I have been following for quite some time now. She not only makes amazing videos but has amazing sense of style. She specifies a lot on being petite and the challenges she faces in finding clothes. I feel you Dulce! I’m 4’11” and us petite girls have a challenge on finding things that fit well but then there are moments like these where we just get lucky and can wear oversized blazers and rock it!

There are so many kinds of blazers, cropped, short, long, padded, fitted, slim, long sleeve, short sleeved etc. When I went on the hunt for one I hit the thrift stores (obviously), although I found many long ones they were not long enough for when sitting or bending, or some of them had slits on the back and sides, for example this one has a slit on the back, so ladies bring them shorts to the rescue. Grab a pair of shorts and wear them under your blazer, dress, skirt anything that may be a bit exposed.

In this case I pulled out my shorter shorts because I did want the blazer to be styled dress like, meaning some leg needed to be shown with these amazing thrift'd knee-high boots! I think the genuine leather material of these boots with the scrunched look adds a savage vibe but we’ll add a bit of sweethearts with the pop of pink lipstick.
